Vial Expiry Calculator and Date Tracker

Once a vial is mixed, the clock starts. This page gives you two things: the date to use it by, and a tracker for everything in your fridge so the oldest vial gets used first. Nothing is sent anywhere; it all lives in your browser. It is also linked in every order confirmation.

Expiry calculator

Pick the date you mixed it.

Use the window on your vial's own label if it gives one. This is a planning date, not a guarantee: a vial that turns cloudy or shows particles is done, whatever the date says.

How long a vial lasts

Most of what sits in a vial fridge has never been through a formal stability study, so these are the conservative working rules, not guarantees.

Vial Where Working rule
Powder, sealed Fridge, 36 to 46 F Months to years. 12 to 18 months is a sensible limit
Powder, sealed Room temperature Weeks
Mixed (reconstituted) Fridge, 36 to 46 F 2 to 4 weeks is the conservative window
Mixed Room temperature Days at most. Back in the fridge as soon as you notice
Mixed Freezer Avoid. Freezing and thawing does more harm than good
Any Hot car, direct sun, checked bag Assume it is ruined

The door is the warmest part of a fridge; the back of the middle shelf is the steadiest. Keep vials dark, in their carton or a case. For the maths of mixing a vial, how much water and where the mark sits on the syringe, peptulator.com, from the same team, has free calculators and a longer storage chart.

Fridge tracker

One tile per slot in your case: what is in it and its use-by date from the calculator above. A tile turns amber in the last week and red once the date has passed.

Loading the tracker. If nothing appears, refresh the page.

Questions

How long does a mixed vial last in the fridge?
Two to four weeks is the conservative window at 36 to 46 F. Some labels quote longer. If yours gives a date, use it.

Can I freeze a mixed vial to make it last longer?
No. Freezing and thawing damages what is in it. Mix smaller amounts instead.

I left it out overnight. Is it done?
One night at normal room temperature usually is not the end, but it shortens the window: fridge it now and use it first. A night in a hot car or in the sun is different; assume it is ruined.

What about travel?
In the cabin, cold, never in a checked bag or a glovebox. A VialHaus case keeps vials upright and dark, with a cold pack for short hops; the VialHaus Cold keeps 36 to 46 F in a normal room for longer trips and its battery is about 50 Wh, under the 100 Wh airline limit.
